This module is for those who have taken Japanese A-level or equivalent. It aims to provide a solid foundation in Japanese grammar and further development of both spoken and written skills. Upper-elementary to intermediate grammar and vocabulary will be introduced and reinforced through conversation, extensive reading and translation practice.
To continue Japanese language training, building on level-one modules so as to provide a solid grounding in Japanese grammar and further development of speaking and writing skills.
To write Japanese fluently and accurately in all language tasks and, in translation between English and Japanese, to use both languages accurately, with correct spelling and grammar.
Intermediate-level grammar, including advanced verb forms, use of honorific language, etc. Intermediate-level translation and composition. Conversation practice.
